Orders less than $25 ship for $6.95.

Why will my shopping cart expire after 60 minutes of inactivity?

It’s complicated!! Our inventory is shared between our brick and mortar store in Henniker, and the Quilted Threads Online Store. The “Availability” as indicated on each item, is the physical quantity that exists on the shelf in Henniker. “Availability” is updated every 10 minutes, so the quantity listed for each online item adjusts as it is sold both in the Henniker store, and online.

As you enter an item in your online shopping cart, it is “reserved” in the online environment only, making it unavailable to other online shoppers, however, it is still available for purchase in Henniker. In an effort to keep the display of our items’ “Availability” as current and accurate as possible, we will delete any abandoned shopping carts after an hour of inactivity.

Please consider moving your shopping cart items to a wish list if you want to refer to them at another time. Availability is not guaranteed for future purchases. 

Why do I get an “Insufficient Quantity” message?

You are trying to order more of an item than is available. “Availability” is included with each item’s listing.

OR, for example:

If an item has an “Availability” of 5 yards, but another shopper has 3 yards reserved in their active shopping cart, your attempt to add 5 yards into your shopping cart puts the total above the 5 available yards. You can try to adjust your quantity to a lower amount, or check back a bit later to see if the quantity has been released from another shopping cart.  (It’s one reason why we clear abandoned shopping carts after 60 minutes of inactivity!)

If an amount of the item has actually been purchased, you will see that sale reflected in the “Availability” of the item.

What happens when I move my shopping cart items to a Wish List?

Your items are saved in your Wish List for future reference. They are stored without quantities. Saving an item in a Wish List does not reserve the item, nor does it guarantee future availability or price.
